Rotol Food Chain was established in 1998 with its first food and beverage Restaurant ‘Imperial Chakri Palace’ located in Suria KLCC and has expanded to 10 F&B outlets in operations to date. The Chakri dynasty was founded by King Rama I, who also built the renowned Chakri Palace. The Chakri Palace, a most fitting name for a Restaurant, preserves the tradition of Royal Thai cuisine, offering a fine dining ambience and serving a wide range of authentic Thai cuisine, is one of the few certified “Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point’ Restaurants in KL and voted one of the Top 10 Restaurants in KL, the ‘Chakri’ brand was expanded with our ‘Chakri Xpress’ Restaurant in 1998, which is located in the Alamanda Shopping Mall in Putrajaya. The ‘Rotol Food Chain’ expanded with a new Brand which was named ‘Rainforest’, outlets with the ‘Rainforest’ name brand are located at, Rainforest Bistros in Central Market and Sunway Pyramid, Rainforest Cafes in KL Tower and KLCC Convention Centre, Rainforest Sports Bar in the Pavilion Mall, other name brands part of the Rotol Food Chain includes Bangkok Connexion in Jalan Ampang, Helo Bali in Sunway Pyramid and our Central Purchasing Unit in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

The Chakri Palace and Rainforest Bistro chain of restaurants offers a myriad of flavors to suit discerning taste buds. Only the finest ingredients are used by our Award-winning chefs to ensure the perfect preparation and presentation of classic, centuries-old recipes. Most importantly our restaurants does not prepare food with MSG, artificial colours and we use cholesterol free oil for cooking and distilled water is served to ensure the best for our customer’s consumption. Only the finest ingredients are used and the utmost care is taken to ensure that classic, centuries-old recipes are prepared and presented to perfection. We also offer organic vegetables & specially prepared vegetarian dishes.
